From Pitch to Profit
Everyone with an innovative business idea needs to be able to "pitch", in order to attract investment. Hundreds of budding entrepreneurs have pitched their ideas to the "Dragons" (five super-wealthy entrepreneurs seeking to invest their cash) on Dragons' Den - the BBC's business venture capitalist programme.

Bizarre British humour
The best talk show in the world is back on Radio 2 (from 14 March) Listen again.

Here's what the Beeb's press officer says about Clive Anderson's Chat Room: "Informed debate, expert analysis, up-to-the-minute comment on the great issues of the day - these you get on other programmes." Aha...

We're also told "each week Clive Anderson and his panel of guests tweak the nose of the news, tickle the tummy of topicality and put a knee in the groin of gobbledegook."

Don't worry if you don't understand all those idioms. Simply listen in and enjoy!

What's on?

My favourite music station. Some of the presenters could do with having their egos scaled down (the name Jonathon Ross springs to mind). But they do play a nice wide range of tunes. Everything from Cliff Richard to Snow Patrol. Better than Radio One, which sounds more like drunken furniture removers scraping a sofa up the staircase.
